Your ad here?

Do you have products or services which you’d like to advertise locally? If the answer is yes, when why not place an advertisement in Spark? It’s produced twice a year, in Spring and Autumn, and distributed to 500 households in the Stockwell Park Conservation Area.

Existing advertisers tell us it works for them.

It’s a lot cheaper than printing and distributing your own flyer– and much cheaper than an ad in The Times or The Guardian.

Welcome to the Stockwell Park Residents' Ascociation web site.  This site provides news, information and interesting articles for local residents in the Stockwell Park Conservation Area. It is envisaged that it will become a valuable point of reference for everyone in our neighbourhood.

We wish to extend a special welcome to those who have recently moved to the area so if you notice someone moving in to a house near you we would love it if you could print out a copy of our welcome note and push it through their door.

The website contains useful information on local history, facilities for kids, and local organisations as well as a small-ads section. Check out the calendar of events and the entertainments guide.

Information about the Residents' Association will also appear along with minutes of their AGM and other relevant meetings.

    Wayland Monster: Deadline Looms

    Justin Southgate reminds you ...

If you are opposed to the new Wayland tower being built to 22 stories high dominating the locality and creating mass overlooking and loss of light to hundreds of homes in and out of the conservation area, then it is imperative you make your views know to the Lambeth planning department by very latest the end of the month.
Although in a zone designated as not suitable for tall buildings this scheme is being pushed through and will pave the way for similarly tall buildings throughout the area. Further towers could then follow.
The Wayland Action group is not aiming to prevent the development of the building but trying to ensure the new scheme is built to an appropriate scale and height for the locality.
If you are concerned by the new plans then your response can be made as follows, ( ensure you add OBJECTION at the top of your correspondence)

The proposed size of the new building is shown on the images below
